Arkadia Digital Studios: The Journey to TPN Certified (2023) Post Production (2002–Present)

How a Dubbing Studio Is Built. The Arkadia Story.

In 2002, Massimiliano and Michele Zuzzi founded Arkadia Group Int with no background in the audiovisual industry. No family connections in the business, no pre-existing network. Just the conviction that something different was possible in Italian audio post-production.

The starting point was a regional grant for the creation of a digital recording studio. Everything else was built from there — one decision at a time, one production at a time.

The early years. Music, then advertising.

The first years were difficult. But resilience has its own logic: it takes you where you hadn't planned to go.

In 2006, Arkadia entered the world of audio post-production for advertising, producing spots for brands including Aprilia and Nespresso. It was the first signal that the studio could operate at a high level. A collaboration with Deluxe opened the doors to audiovisual post-production and redrew the project's horizon entirely.

From 2007: the major names.

From 2007, Arkadia began collaborating with some of the most important names in the industry — Sky, Netflix, Rai, Sony, BTI, Titrafilm, Hiventy, Misseri Studios — producing dubbing for films, television series, animation and documentaries for cinema and television.

It was not linear growth. It was a series of bets won by doing the work well.

2019: Arkadia Digital Studios

In 2019, Arkadia Digital Studios was born. The facilities were completely renovated — a new 5.1 mix room, a new Dolby Atmos stage. And TPN certification arrived: the formal recognition of a level of security and infrastructure the studio had already been building for years.

Today, Arkadia Digital Studios operates across 200 square metres of technology — two vocal rooms, a stereo mix suite, a 5.1 mix stage and a Dolby Atmos main stage. A facility built entirely around a craft.

The people who made Arkadia.

A studio is not just technology. It is the people who work there — and those who grew up inside it.

Arkadia has always believed in giving space to those who show passion and determination. Over the years, many professionals took their first steps here, finding an environment where learning happened by doing.

Among dubbing directors, Simone Marzona started with us and is today a respected director across Rome and Milan. Among dialogue adapters, Antonio Lanza developed his craft here and now brings it to high-level productions. Among our technical team, Niccolò Guidi, Sergio Garbarino, Riccardo Burbi and Ezio Vivolo each found in Arkadia the place where they built their profession.

Over twenty years, voice actors who have worked in our studios include Ruggero Andreozzi, Emiliano Reggente, Ezio Conenna, Emilia Costa, Diego Baldoin, Giulia Tarquini, Joy Saltarelli, Jessica Bologna, Massimo Rossi, Giorgio Borghetti, Marina Thovez, Simona Biasetti, Stefano Broccoletti, Omar Vitelli, Dimitri Winter, Luca Ferrante, Dario Oppido, Edoardo Nordio, Riccardo Rovatti, Veronica Cuscusa, Alessandra Sani and Nicola Braile.

Today, Jennifer Fantoni joins us as our new Production Director. We know her passion and her abilities well — and we are confident that, like many before her, she will soon be widely recognised across the industry.

Distribution. A new challenge.

The latest chapter brought Arkadia into the world of film and television distribution, through a partnership with Bosco Films, a Spanish production and distribution company. The first project brought to Italian cinemas was Nefarius. New productions are on the way.

What remains.

Arkadia was born from the passion of two brothers who built something without knowing exactly where it would take them. Twenty years later, the answer is this: a TPN-certified studio, internationally recognised, with a real story behind every production.

Not a company that does dubbing. A studio built around dubbing.
